From Debt to Dreams: A Global Celebration of Solvency
Are you tired of the “vague” feeling of financial chaos? Are you ready to stop surviving and start truly living?
Whether you are walking into your very first meeting or have been solvent for decades, this year’s D.A. Convention is your roadmap to a life of abundance. Over 100 members will share their hard-earned recovery, strength, and hope throughout 33 scheduled sessions in two online rooms over the course of 25 hours. We are bringing together voices from across the globe—from Mumbai to Mexico City, from newcomers to long-timers—to share the practical miracles of the 12 Steps of Debtors Anonymous.

Why You Should Join Us:
- Find Your Way: Discover the immediate relief of the “First 30 Days” and the power of the Pressure Relief Group.
- Break the Silence: Join honest conversations on income inequality, chronic health, and how the program works for everyone—regardless of background.
- Build Your Vision: Go beyond just “not debting.” Learn to run a soulful business, earn with integrity, and finally map out the life you’ve always dreamed of.
- Global Recovery: Sessions worldwide in Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian, Hindi, Tamil, and more, plus live translation subtitles so you can understand all speakers.
- Laughter & Connection: From our Comedy Hour to the No-Debt Dance Party, we’re proving that recovery isn’t just work—it’s a celebration.
The debt ends here. The life you were meant to live begins now.

Frequently asked questions
Is this convention only for people who have been in D.A. a long time?
Absolutely not! This convention is designed with the newcomer in mind. We have a dedicated “First 30 Days” track and sessions specifically for those who are still “hurting” (incurring new debt). You’ll find that the “old-timers” are there specifically to help you find your footing.
I’m currently in a financial crisis. Is it okay to attend?
Yes. In fact, there is no better place to be. You will hear from people who started exactly where you are—facing collections, legal issues, or total uncertainty—and found a way out through the 12 Steps of D.A. You don’t need to have your act together to show up.
Do I have to speak or share my financial details?
Only if you want to. Many sessions include “Open Sharing,” but you are always welcome to just listen with no video. Your anonymity is protected, and you are never required to disclose your income, debt load, or personal details to the group.
I’m nervous. Will I fit in?
Compulsive debting is a disease of isolation. The moment you join, you’ll realize you aren’t the only one who has struggled with these patterns. You aren’t “bad” or “wrong”—you are a person with a disease that has a solution. You belong here.
What if I don’t speak the languages listed in the sessions?
You’re in luck! There will be automatic translation captioning for members to understand sessions in over 20 languages, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Tamil, and Russian. We also believe that “Recovery is our common language”—you’ll find the spirit of the message transcends words!
Is there a “dress code” or a “fee” for the social events?
D.A. is a spiritual program, not a corporate one. Come as you are! All sessions are included with registration, which requests a suggested contribution but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. We celebrate with the “currency” of connection, not credit cards.
DA50 is more than a convention – it is a celebration of 50 years of recovery, service, and hope. Whether you attend, volunteer, or propose a session, your participation helps strengthen the worldwide Debtors Anonymous community.
We look forward to celebrating with you!
