The GSB Nominations and Procedures Committee (NomPro) of D.A. seeks experienced volunteer Project Contributors (PCs) to research and conduct oral histories of longtime members of Debtors Anonymous with the goal of preserving their experience, strength, and hope for present and future generations.

Please click on this link to learn how Alcoholics Anonymous is conducting their own oral history interviews: GUIDELINES FOR CONDUCTING ORAL HISTORIES. We will be using this as a template for our own project guidelines.

As an experienced oral interviewer, you will be expected to use one of the following:

  • a digital recorder,
  • smartphone with an external microphone,
  • or the recording function on virtual meeting software.

You may be asked to do research to find longtimers to interview.

If you feel you are the right person for this project, please apply as a
